The story of Hello/Goodbye revolves around the portrayal of ideologies, beliefs and lives; or the differences within, between the two co-existing living units of the times we live in – the ‘Haves and the Have-nots’.

The film delves into this portrayal through the lives of two characters – Aki (Dhruv Ganesh) a young music producer with a limited opinion for most, apart from himself; and Ram Chandra Govind Hari Prasad (Ram Gopal Bajaj) an old man living on the other side of this invisible social fence.

Inevitably, as these two distinctly different personalities meet, dreams and aspirations come face to face with cold, elitist social arrogance in an intense conversation.
